Helen, through her company Turning Point International, offers training and facilitation programs in the areas of leadership, teambuilding, and change management. She believes that organizational success, today, depends on developing a culture which encourages people to be who they really are, say what they really think, and listen to each other. Her tool of choice is the Enneagram - a system for understanding human motivation that offers stunning insights into the way we perceive and relate. Helen applies those insights to leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, team building, strategic planning - in fact to any situation where working effectively with other people is important. A dynamic speaker, she is in demand for conferences, workshops, and in-house programs tailored to specific organizational needs.

Helen understands the constraints and opportunities of large organizations from direct experience. She worked for 19 years in management positions with the Bank of Nova Scotia, the University of Toronto, International Computers Ltd., and Bell Canada. In her ten years with the Bank of Nova Scotia, she held Senior Management positions in Operations and Systems, and in Corporate and Investment Banking. She has taught in the Humber College School of Business, and at the University of Toronto. On the board of the International Enneagram Association (IEA) 1996-2000, she served as Treasurer, Vice President, President, and Past President.

Her formal education includes: B.Sc. Honors Mathematics and Physics (Bishop’s University), M.Sc. Computer Science, Undergraduate Psychology courses and first year MBA program (University of Toronto), and Master Practitioner & Trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Helen has traveled widely in Europe, Africa, South America, China, South East Asia, Canada and the United States.
