Testimonials:

“ I went into the workshop expecting that a number of people on my team would not speak up, and that one or two would not engage at all. I left astounded by the level of participation and enthusiasm from everyone. Without question you are one of the best, if not the best, facilitator I have ever met, and the Enneagram is both profound and practical in understanding our different leadership styles and bringing us together as a team.”

Director, Hydro One

"Helen spoke at our Central Region Conference attended by about three hundred people. She kept us interested at all times by her use of humor, pertinent personal stories, enthusiasm and her ability to relate well to all participants. Feedback sheets at the end were all positive and appreciative."

FUTURES Conference, Sheridan College

“I would rate the leadership & teambuilding session 10/10.”

Strategic Planning

"The significant problems we face today cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them."

Different stages in the strategic planning process require different types of thinking.
  • Visionary thinking: motivational, future oriented, flexible
  • Contradictional thinking: focused, deals with current reality, acknowledges tensions
  • Strategic thinking: directional, creative, dynamic
  • Practical thinking: detailed, action oriented, time bound
Individuals generally tend to excel at one or perhaps two of these thinking styles, over the others. When individuals come together on a team that supports and encourages the different perspectives, ensuring that all are considered at the appropriate time, the resulting plan is both inspired and achievable.

Turning Point International's strategic planning exercises usually follow the Leadership and Teambuilding foundation workshop, and build on the strengths and growing edges of each participant's natural thinking process.

The Strategic Planning exercise requires from 1/2 day to several days, depending on the business need. For an in-depth look at the process followed, click here.
